Index of Engagements and Weddings - 1938-1962

Gordon Wallace, long time volunteer at the Muskogee Public Library, created these indexes of announcements about engagements and weddings, along with the articles about the weddings that appeared in the Muskogee Phoenix newspaper from 1938 to 1962.

These news items contain genealogical material which may not be found elsewhere. The subjects' residence and names of parents are often mentioned. Also various friends and associates may be listed which will help a researcher find living relatives.
