Muskogee County Death Records, 1910-1916
Collection Origin
These historical death records are available thanks to Rex Campbell, who discovered three vintage ledger books at an Oklahoma City thrift store in 2022. These ledgers were discarded by the Muskogee County Clerk, likely prior to 1983. Mr. Campbell generously donated scanned copies of these documents to the Muskogee Public Library to support genealogical and historical research. These records serve as an invaluable resource for genealogists, historians, and community members researching Muskogee County's early 20th-century history.
What's Included This collection contains more than 4,000 death certificates from January 1, 1910 through August 1916. The death certificates contain the following information:
