Research Services

We can now offer, thanks to AI, a new research service. Using our "Super Search Widget" our research team can easily search all our obituary, cemetery, funeral home, and death record indexes for you. "You ask, we will search" and then let you know what we can provide and the fee for sending you digital copies from the microfilm collection of the Muskogee Public Library. Remember: MCGS members pay a discounted fee for copies.

Also our research team is experienced in searching online resources if you need additional research services. We will do our best to fulfill your research requests as quickly as possible.

​We offer two types of research assistance: 

Request Copies
You can request copies of the microfilmed records MCGS has indexed. You can search these indexes on our website
or request our research team to search them for you.

Consultation Request
Our unique consultation method uses a group of 8-10 experienced researchers to "crowdsource" your research question online and provide you with a Research Log containing links, etc., along with a summary of our findings.
You can use this information to further your own "exhaustive research" and answer your research question.
